I am forwarding this short note to you regarding your request for me to be there on Monday at 10:00 AM. However, this is not possible because you sent me a message for me to restart my Substance Abuse Treatment Program, and I immediately spoke with Michelle about getting back to class.
I was told that to start back, I have to be there on Monday and Tuesday for a reassessment and to sign up to get back into my classes. Therefore, I will not be able to be there on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Furthermore, I also have to be in Sherman on Friday, November 22nd for Court. Ms. Jones, as you are aware, I do not live in Sherman, IL, and each time I come, I have to pay someone to bring me and wait for me. At this time, I do not have a job or the money to make repeated trips in one week.
Therefore, I can’t be there on Monday, 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Consequently, if you can schedule an appointment with me online on ZOOM either afternoon on Monday or Tuesday, it would be most helpful for me to meet with you.
Ms. Jones, I am trying to do what is required of me, but it feels as if, in all situations, things are made more difficult and more confusing for me to meet all the requests.

Rights of Inmates
Even the most chronic or hardened inmates have basic rights that are protected by the U.S. Constitution. These rights should be known by all members of the family of any individual who has been or is facing incarceration.
The Rights of Inmates include the following:
The right to humane facilities and conditions
The right to be free from being subjected to sexual crimes, including sexual harassment
The right to be free from racial segregation
The right to express complaints
The right to assert their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act
The right to medical care and attention as needed
The right to appropriate mental health care
The right to have a hearing if they are to be moved to a mental health facility
The Right to Humane Facilities and conditions
Pre-trial detainees must be housed in humane facilities; they cannot be “punished or treated as guilty while they await trial.
Inmates have the right to be free from “cruel and unusual” punishment; the term noted by the Supreme Court is any punishment that can be considered inhumane treatment, or that violates the basic concept of a person’s dignity, may be found to be cruel and unusual. For example, an inmate held in a 150-year-old prison infested with vermin, fire hazards, and a lack of toilets would exemplify a constitutional violation.
The Right to be Free from being subjected to Sexual Crimes, including Sexual Harassment
An inmate cannot be subjected to sexual crimes, including sexual harassment.
The Prison Rape Elimination Act protects prisoners.
The Right to be Free from Racial Segregation
Inmates cannot be racially segregated in prison, except where necessary for preserving discipline and prison security.
The Right to Express Complaints
Inmates can complain about prison/jail conditions and have a right of access to the courts to air these complaints.
The Right to Assert ADA Rights
Disabled prisoners are entitled to assert their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure that they are allowed access to prison programs/facilities that they are qualified and able to participate in.
The Right to Medical Care/Attention
Inmates are entitled to necessary medical treatment for both acute and chronic conditions and long-term illnesses. The medical care provided must be “adequate.”
The Right to Have a Hearing
Inmates are entitled to a hearing if they are to be moved to a mental health facility. However, an inmate is not always entitled to have a hearing if he or she is being moved between two similar facilities. A mentally ill inmate may not have to go through a full-blown hearing if the government feels the need for medication. It is sufficient if there is an administrative hearing before independent medical professionals.

It is because of the confused and chaotic condition of the world that I am writing this letter on behalf of those who are laboring with mental Illnesses or health conditions. Approximately 60% of jail inmates and 49% of state prisoners in the U.S. reported symptoms of a mental health disorder, with over 70% of incarcerated individuals having at least one diagnosed mental illness, substance use disorder, or both.
They are more likely to be incarcerated than hospitalized. Over 40% of people in jails and prisons have been diagnosed with mental health issues. Moreover, I am acquainted with someone who is incarcerated at this time and who has a history of mental illness and alcohol abuse. He is my son, K Washington. During his incarceration, he has complained of experiencing several incidents of unusual excessive force and abuse by police officers within the jail facility.
Often, they isolate these mental health inmates for no reason at all, simply to be able to inflict usual punishment on them where there are no witnesses. In order that the inmates’ complaints will not be accepted as valid.
They often set up situations where the person with mental health issues is purposely frustrated and forced to protect themselves against officers or other inmates who are allowed to attack them, while there is no one to witness the situation.
It is essential to note that any inmate who states that they feel unsafe should be reported to staff immediately. I was made aware of such incidents during this past year. I was informed by said individual regarding repeated incidents that sounded beyond the usual jail performance. After they informed me of the situation. I called the FBI and was told that I should first inform the facility that housed the person who had reported the problem to me.
I hurriedly got off that call and immediately made a phone call to the jail and spoke to the officer, who stated he was in charge during that time, which was between 2 am and 4 am. At first, he did not want to talk to me, but I informed him that, as a family member, it was my duty to notify the institution where the individual is housed after being informed of a mental and emotional crisis (extreme mood swings, rage, or intense anxiety; paranoia, hallucinations, or irrational thoughts). There may be sudden isolation, increased substance use, or neglecting hygiene. As well as changes in appetite or sleep, either too much or too little.
He stated that he thinks the inmate was okay, but I told him that when an individual is exhibiting mental and emotional distress and states that they feel unsafe, it is essential that a mental health provider be called immediately to assess the mental health condition of the inmate.
Furthermore, I know that I am qualified to inform them because I am a family member with doctoral-level training in clinical psychology. Also, I have worked in many jails and prisons with inmates with various mental health disorders. I also served on the 24th Juvenile Justice Council for several years.
From my prior history of working in correctional facilities, it is my determination that police officers take these kinds of issues too lightly and that the correctional facilities should be trained and prepared for emergencies of varying levels of severity. It is also my determination that when inmates are arrested, if there is no prior record, a record should be started at intake.
Consequently, if there are issues of mental health or substance abuse, or physical issues, they should be recorded in the intake. An immediate assessment should be required to determine the needs and level of severity. There should also be written profiles of each inmate kept on file.
Below is a list of salient behaviors that individuals with mental health and alcohol or drug abuse issues are reportedly experiencing. Immediately following is a list of how inmates with mental health issues or physical issues should be treated when arrested and during incarceration.
Housing inmates with mental health issues, substance abuse issues, or physical issues without a prior needs assessment
Placed in isolated areas for extended periods of time, which causes severe negative repetitive thinking that increases depression.
Placed in repeated situations with low frustration tolerance (LFT), the inability to cope with discomfort, stress, or delays, leading to intense irritation, anxiety, or emotional outbursts when expectations are not met (people with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, etc.).
Prevented from contacting family as punishment.
Demeaned or humiliated by officers or other inmates, which causes emotional outbursts, creating situations in which the officers implement punishment.
Tasers are used unnecessarily by officers without regard to the possibility of heart conditions or high blood pressure.
Tasers are used on inmates to the point of causing bleeding or unconsciousness.
Denied receiving their purchased commissary as punishment
Denied the privilege to use proper hygiene as punishment
Denied toilet paper when using the bathroom and having to use their clothing to wipe themselves.
Stripped of clothing in the presence of officers of the opposite sex.
Unnecessary and undue force was used when interacting with inmates, causing intimidation (feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, or pressured into submission).
Racism and discrimination are used to determine how black inmates are treated.
Not taking the inmates seriously when they express that they feel unsafe or in physical pain.
Physically abused (slapping, pinching, choking, kicking, shoving, or inappropriately using drugs or physical restraints) by officers while handcuffed or in foot shackles.
Nonconsensual sexual contact (unwanted touching of persons’ intimate parts) by officers or other inmates.
Inhumane treatment (treatment consists of acts which cause serious pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, or which constitute a serious outrage upon individual dignity).
Appropriate Procedures required:
Inmates with mental health issues or co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues should be treated with screening upon intake, followed by accessible, evidence-based treatment programs tailored to individual needs, such as medication-assisted treatment (MAT), therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. The staff should be trained to provide a supportive and empathetic environment, and facilities should integrate treatment with reentry planning to ensure continuity of care in the community and reduce recidivism.
The screening and Assessment should be conducted for mental health and substance abuse issues upon entry into jail or prison by trained personnel. If potential conditions are detected, individuals should be referred for further evaluation and assessment by mental health professionals.
Treatment approaches available:
Integrated treatment: Programs that offer integrated treatment for both mental health disorders and substance use disorders (dual disorders), which recognize that they often co-occur.
Evidence-Based Programs: The treatments should be evidence-based and should include cognitive behavioral therapy, which teaches coping skills and helps identify negative thought patterns.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT): Expanding access to MAT, such as methadone or naltrexone, can be critical for managing opioid addiction.
Therapy and Counseling: These include individual and group counseling, along with self-help groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, which should be available.
Crisis Intervention: Every facility needs to provide access to medication, mental health providers, and staff equipped to handle mental health crises effectively.
Staff Training and Supportive Environment:
All Correctional staff should receive training to recognize mental health and substance use issues, provide support, and reduce stigma. Treatment should be delivered in an atmosphere of empathy and respect, with a focus on Strengths-Based recovery approaches.
There should always be Reentry and Community Integration Programs and Continuity of Care. The treatment plans should always incorporate reentry services that connect individuals with community-based support networks, housing, and employment opportunities. There should be a development of reentry plans with the community mental health organization to ensure that treatment and support continue after release.
Each facility should have written rules and procedures for appropriate and inappropriate behavior for police officers and all personnel who work with each jail or prison facility. It should be deemed necessary to do so every 6-12 months. Each jail or facility should have periodic reviews for various violations of these rules and procedures, and any inappropriate treatment of inmates or prisoners. There should be rules and procedures that address each infraction committed by officers or particular facilities. And the reports should be kept in the files.
When there are infractions, there should be consequences for those infractions, and they should be carried out. When there are infractions against facility staff or police officers, there should be proper corrections or changes made to these infractions to prevent further occurrences. I would add that there should be special training for various mental and physical needs before hiring, and Diversity Training.
Anyone with any propensity to be racist, a drug addict, or an alcoholic; homosexual with prior issues, or who demonstrates abusive behavior, should never be hired; or if this kind of behavior occurs while the individual is on the job, that person should be dismissed immediately, and a note placed in their file that they should never be hired in those kinds of workplaces.

Noteworthy to mention that many of these incidents have been reported to have occurred while being incarcerated at Homer County Jail in Homer, IL 61032. Having worked in many of these facilities during my doctoral training in clinical psychology, I am familiar with mental and emotional issues.
Furthermore, there is an overwhelming number of people needing help due to these challenges and the devastation they have caused. It would be critically advantageous to the success of improving the services of the Justice System, as well as the quality of life of incarcerated individuals with these disorders, and those in the future, and that would include K Washington, who is currently incarcerated. These issues should immediately be addressed.

Honorable Judge Vance:
I am writing this letter in response to the recent incident that occurred on September 04, 2024, when the News reported that it was a hostage situation with the suspect possessing multiple weapons. It was further reported that the entire Maplewood Apartment Building was barricaded, preventing the public from coming near the location. After approximately 12 hours, the suspect was apprehended without harm to himself or the hostage.
It was during the newscast that the suspect was identified and a picture was shown, and I recognized the individual as Mr. Benjamin Vance. Your Honor, I have been a resident of Oakridge, Illinois, for over 50 years and have, at one time or another, come into contact with the majority of the community. It is also because of my work in the Ministry that I have spoken to many of the parents and children in some capacity.
I have experience working in correctional centers, jails, and with individuals with their offenses and worse. I have also worked with the Oakridge Court System as the Director of the Diversion Program for Juveniles with their first and second offenses. It was during that period that I was part of the State of Illinois 24th Circuit Judicial Juvenile Counsel for Sterling, Pine, Henderson, Grant, and Dalton counties.
During my history, I owned and operated an Emergency Short-Term Shelter at the Haven of Hope Refuge House for approximately 26 years. It was during that time that I had firsthand experience working with ex-offenders like Mr. Benjamin Vance, who came directly from incarceration to live in my Haven of Hope House until they obtained permanent housing.
Furthermore, I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, which is the assessment and treatment of mental illness and disability. Your Honor, it is because of my extensive experience and knowledge of mental illness that I feel it is incumbent upon me to make these most critical interjections regarding said person, Mr. Benjamin Vance, and his mental condition.
Your Honor, based on prior interaction with Mr. Benjamin Vance, the incident that occurred on September 04, 2024, and his reported behavior and speech during that incident, as well as alleged incidents regarding his behavior, as well as my knowledge and training in mental illness and its disorders, I believe that Mr. Benjamin Vance’s hostile, suicidal, and threatening behavior is causally related to his severe Mental Illness, which may consist of Bipolar II Disorder (Recurrent Major Depressive Episodes With Hypomanic Episodes/Severe With Psychotic Features). In other words, he has an emotional state of consistent depression with Severe Psychotic Features and recurring Hypomanic Episodes.
In other words, he is depressed the majority of the time, having severe periods of feelings of sadness, tears, hopelessness, rejection, and losing touch with reality, and switching back to being energetic, sometimes very aggressive, an inability to sleep, yet feeling rested, or sleep deprivation for days, which increases the depression and increases the losing touch with reality and paranoia. He also has recurrent thinking (repeatedly going over and over the same thoughts in his mind), he has serious trust issues, feelings of rejection, an extensive prior legal record, and a history of drug use, as well as possible alcohol use.
More importantly, I believe that Mr. Benjamin Vance is also exhibiting significant signs of personality disorder, which include inconsistent behavior, being frustrating and confusing to loved ones and people they interact with, and appearing to have issues understanding realistic and acceptable ways to treat others and behave around them. They may also be insensitive to how their behavior can cause problems for themselves and/or others. When these individuals have children, their behavior may be detached, overemotional, and even abusive or irresponsible.
I believe that Mr. Graham reportedly displays Paranoid Personality Disorder, in which he believes others are trying to demean, harm, or threaten him; borderline personality disorder, with emotional dysregulation causing low self-esteem, mood swings, impulsive behaviors, and subsequent relationship difficulties; as well as Schizotypal Personality Disorder, described as having few, if any, close relationships. They often misinterpret other motivations and behaviors and greatly distrust others. These personality disorders are comorbid, co-existing, or co-occurring conditions, or overlap.
Because personality disorders are such misunderstood mental conditions and science is still working to figure out the cause, it is difficult to diagnose. It is believed that there are contributing factors, which include Genetics (malfunctioning genes in OCP, links to aggression, anxiety, and fear. Possible Brain changes in paranoid personality disorder include altered amygdala function that processes fearful and threatening stimuli. In schizotypal disorder, researchers found a volumetric decrease in the frontal lobe of their brain.
It is believed that borderline personality disorder is the result of high rates of childhood sexual trauma; individuals who experience these disorders have real issues with intimacy and trust. Verbal abuse is alleged to be associated with borderline, narcissistic, obsessive-compulsive, and paranoid personality disorders in adulthood. Of course, there may be cultural factors, which are demonstrated by varying rates of personality disorders between different countries.
These disorders mostly begin in childhood and become more pronounced in adulthood. This is because people with these disorders do not seek help or a diagnosis for their condition. The majority of the time, loved ones or relatives, or social agencies have to refer them to a mental health professional because their behavior has gotten to cause difficulty, such as the incident with Mr. Benjamin Vance for others. Usually, these individuals only seek help for conditions such as anxiety, depression, or substance abuse, or problems created by personality disorder, such as the incident of September 04, 2024. These personality criteria are provided in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
When addicts are incarcerated, it only makes them feel more pressure and creates the urgency of obtaining drugs or alcohol as soon as they get the opportunity. Many offenders only become addicts as a direct result of the frustration, anxiety, and depression of continually being locked up.
The Illinois courts seem to be insensitive to the problems and needs of these addicted, hurting, indigenous people. They do not recognize that most incarcerated people have similar problems, as well as addictions.
They have lost all hope because everything leads to arrests and imprisonment, guilty or not guilty. Illinois court system has shown that they have nothing constructive or rehabilitative to offer.
In conclusion, these are some of the serious concerns and issues that are not being addressed and allow men and women, not only Mr. Benjamin Vance but also my son, to continue to be a part of the failed Justice System and its inability to encourage and provide means for all of its citizens to be able to grow and be productive and also be included in the provision of Justice for all. Included in this letter are also some suggestions for programs that are badly in need of implementation.

Reflecting on the mistakes of the past generation that has led
us to the current generation and beyond!
Our world has gone through generation after generation and has arrived at a place of total confusion chaos. When we look back and examine what occurred in each generation and what changes we made to arrive at the next we find we made mistakes that made major changes seemingly for the worst.
As we take a closer look at what we observe from a cheat sheet for parents to visualize that was reportedly created by, Parents .com/parenting better-parenting style/generation-names-and years we are able to come to various conclusions of where we are today. For example, “Silent Generation were born 1928 through 1945. They got their name from such conformists that they were silent through the McCarthy era when the fear of Communism swept the country. During this time, kids were expected to earn their way through life using a strong work ethic.
The Baby Boom Generation was baron 1946 to 1964. Generation Z mid to late 1990s and early 2010smay think of Baby boomers as their out-of-touch grandparents (as in OK, Boomers”) but this generation had a wild youth we often don’t talk about. Boomers are named for the population’s “boom” that occurred after WWII. Allegedly, many of this generation defiled their parents, protested the Vietnam War, and created the “Summer of Love.”
The Boomers’ parents were noted to have redefined parenting by being the first generation to look at their kids’ perspective of growing up, and they started the concept of having family meetings.
Generation X: was born 1965 -1980. They were often dismissed as the slacker generation. This generation was reported to have lived through the AIDS epidemic, MTV culture, and a shifting landscape that would give rise to LGBTQ+ rights. The parents of Generation X were said to be the first to use helicopter parenting styles. Unlike their Boomer parents, who famously let their kids stay outside until the streetlights came on, Gen X’ers tend to be far more involved with their children’s social and educational development.
The Millennial Generation or Generation was reportedly Born between 1981 and 1996. They allegedly lived through 9/11, around the time Amazon only sold books, and are also the first generation to know a childhood both with and without the internet, which now plays a significant role in their personal lives.
Even though the Boomers may accuse Millennials of being self-centered and impatient due to their excessive use of technology, they have proven to be incredibly community-oriented and environmentally conscious, which are traits being picked up by their children.
In parenting, millennials are considered more likely than prior generations to encourage their children to live as their authentic selves, and they’re leading the movement in helping gender non-conforming kids be happy with who they are, points out Carr. It is reported that some millennial parents, who were ‘helicopter over’ in their youth, are taking on a freer approach to parenting, allowing their children to explore and create without constant structure or supervision.
Generation Z or iGen was born from 1997 through 2010. The kids of Generation Z are the first to be born into a world where they know nothing besides constant connections to one another through phones, screens, and tablets. However, like the millennials before them, Gen Z’ers are often environmentally conscious, inclusive accepting of others, and extremely politically aware despite many of them not yet being of voting age.
It is suggested to be too soon to peg Alphas as this or that based on how little we know about them as of yet. Howbeit, there are a few things we feel we do understand. Some Gen alphas were the first to be born during the COVID-19 pandemic, they’re more diverse than any other generation, and they’re more likely to be in a single-parent household. They are reported to have the potential to redefine education and the workforce.
Lastly, Generation Beta will be born from 2025 through 2039. The kids born in 2025 and beyond will be part of Generation /Beta, though it’s too soon to know anything about them yet, They’ll likely be tech-savvy and socially conscious, similar to Generation Alphas, and they might prioritize adaptability, individuality, and sustainability. They won’t be like past generations, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital connectivity will likely be woven into their daily lives. It is reported that like the generation that came before them, every passing year will shape the cultural perception of who they are. In the meantime, parents get the pride and honor of guiding them through life.
All these prior generations discovered the world in the 70-50-90’s. They ventured into the 80s and 90s. They reportedly became stable in the 2000s and supposedly got wiser in the 2010s. We are allegedly getting firmly through and beyond 2020.
We have been counted to live through eight different decades two different centuries and two different millennials. History shows that we have gone from the telephone with an operator for long-distance calls to video calls anywhere in the world.
We have gone from slides to YouTube, from vinyl records to online music, from handwritten letters to emails and WhatsApp apps. We have gone from matches on the radio, to black and white TV, color TV, and then to 3D HD TV. We have gone to the Video store and now watch Netflix.
Allegedly, we have gotten to know the first computers, punch cards, floppy disks and now we have gigabytes and megabytes on our smartphones. We reportedly wore shorts throughout our childhood and then long trousers, Oxfords, flares, shell suits, and blue jeans. We were said to have dodged infantile paralysis, meningitis, polio, tuberculosis, swine flu, and now Covid-19. We rode skates, tricycles, bicycles, mopeds, and petrol or diesel cars and now we drive hybrids or electric cars. Most have concluded we have been through a lot but what a great life we all had!
The world might describe us as “Exennials,” people who were born in that world of the fifties, who had an analog childhood and a digital adulthood. It is said we’ve kind of “Seen-It-All”! Our generation has lived through and witnessed more than any other in every dimension of life.
In conclusion, is said our generation that has adapted to “change.” We are reportedly giving ourselves a big round of applause to all the members of a very special generation which is considered UNIQUE!
But if we consider all of the latest technology and digital knowledge, modern gadgets, inventions we have discovered, and the diseases and surgical operations we have accomplished, it is still very sad.
When we look at this entire world and its condition, we have digressed and not progressed. We have learned just enough to become the most racist, violent, cruelest, self-serving, rebellious, prideful, immoral, unthankful, cold-hearted, unholy generation in our history.
We have gained all the knowledge and man-made wisdom, but we still cannot discern the signs of the end times that show us that we are living in the last days of this world as we are now. With all the hideous crimes and bloodshed, we do not recognize this world is deteriorating and headed directly for the final battle between ‘good and evil’, which is Armageddon, the rapture, and Christ’s return.
In conclusion, we have lost respect for ourselves, our parents, our neighbors, and most importantly of all for God and his creation, which is rushing God’s judgment on us.
I must first of all tell you that I am not simply writing these letters to have something to say, but I have been commissioned by God himself to speak the mind of God to his people. God’s primary desire for his children is that they be saved, mature spiritually to become like Jesus Christ, live in harmony with Him and others, and experience spiritual well-being and joy. This includes showing love and mercy and focusing on eternal life rather than worldly pursuits.
Secondly, I would like to say that I was anointed to be a Seer Prophetess (Exodus 15:20 (Miriam); Judges 4:4 (Deborah); 1 Samuel 9:19; 2 Samuel 24:11 (Gad). Seer Prophetess comes from the Hebrew word ra’ah, meaning “to see (with the eyes of the heart; those are the spiritual eyes)”. They perceive the invisible spiritual realm, often receiving revelations through vivid dreams, visions, and mental images as well as God’s audible voice. A heightened sense of spiritual and emotional sensitivity, picking up on the atmosphere of a place or discerning the unspoken emotions and motives of others. Multiple sensory perceptions. With the ability to perceive hidden information, they offer navigational insight, wisdom, and counsel for people and leaders. These gifts and anointing are for redemptive purposes. When a problem is revealed, it is through prayer or action that a solution will be brought about.
The Lord has commissioned me to point America and the world to the devastating effects that have been brought on society, and therefore the world, because of the unjust and oftentimes cruel method of the Criminal Justice System’s mediation of retribution for the wrongs committed. The world does not realize that no matter who is in charge, the laws of right and wrong still apply, and all must give an account of their deeds, including America and the Criminal Justice System. Because we have a higher court that governs our actions, which is the court of heaven, we cannot simply carry out our self-made rules and procedures. The rules and laws of this country are supposed to be equal and just to all of its citizens. We have “sown to the wind and are now reaping to the whirlwind” (Hosea 8:7).
Unfortunately, we have heard the reports and seen evidence of individuals who have been involved in the system. Furthermore, we have witnessed the destruction of families and communities by the criminal justice system’s failure to deliver just and fair outcomes for those who have gone through the system. The gross failure and injustice have exacerbated existing inequalities and societal problems.
First, the system is basically punitive, and prisons function as a warehouse for people that society doesn’t want to deal with. Moreover, it has been reported that incarcerated people across the world consistently experience poor health across a wide range of mental illnesses and physical conditions. Below are some of the issues that involve the failure of the Criminal Justice System.
Mental illness is exacerbated because of the inability to handle the high rates of mental illness among inmates. Overcrowding, isolation, and a stressful environment cause existing conditions or cause new psychological trauma.
“Criminal College effect: instead of reforming individuals, some of the penal environments place them in proximity with experienced criminals. This only led to those individuals leaning more towards criminal behavior, which came to be called “Con college.”
Death by suicide was most common. Stressors that contributed to that death include mental illness struggles, the death of a loved one, planned transfer to a different institution, deportation risk, lack of family support, and sex offender status. Suicide in jails also increased greatly from one year to another.
Reportedly, about 2 million times a year, people with serious mental illness are booked into jails. Nearly 20 to 5 was reported to have a history of mental illness (37% in state and federal prisons and 44% held in local jails.
Cycle of recidivism: without effective rehabilitation, many individuals re-offend and return to prison. This creates a debilitating cycle of incarceration and release, which hinders their ability to build a stable life.
Because the devastating effects of the system extend far beyond the time served. Their criminal conviction can create permanent barriers to housing, employment, education, and civic participation, which make it extremely difficult to reintegrate into society.
Because of the disproportionate impact, the system’s failure and devastating effects are most acutely felt by people of color, those with mental illness, and those struggling with poverty. They are the ones who are disproportionately represented in the incarcerated population.

Hepatitis C. While the majority of HCV infections occur outside of prison, the infection is still widespread within the prison system as a result of injection drug use.

The data includes members of the prison population globally and has a range of complex and often overlapping physical and mental health conditions, including:
11.4% had depression, as compared to 6-8% in the general population
9.8% had PTSD and 3.7% had psychotic disorders (also at least double the rate in the general population).
Nearly one in four (23.8%) had an alcohol use disorder, and 38.9% had a drug use disorder on entry to prison.
17% had Hepatitis C, with prevalence of Hepatitis B, HIV, and tuberculosis in excess of the community-based population, and significant rates of sexually transmitted infections (including gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis). Paper published in the Lancet Public Health Journal; major studies in prison health, Professor Seena Fazel, senior author, and Professor of Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Oxford. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Because I have had the opportunity to be an eyewitness to how inmates are treated in jails and prisons, I know the majority of alleged reports are true. It was during the doctoral internships that I had the privilege of working at the Dixon Correctional Center in St. Charles, as well as the jails in Rockford, Illinois, and Freeport, Illinois. I sat on the 15th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Counsel for some time and was the Director of the Diversion Program for first-time offenders here in Freeport, Illinois, during that time.
I would add that with my experience of working in the system, as well as witnessing my own son Karlos M. Evans’ involvement in the system, I can attest that once they are involved in the system, they are never the same (alcoholism, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, issues dealing with frustration etc.). From the time they are carted off to prison, they are reportedly taken out and beaten within an inch of their lives before they even arrive at Statesville Correctional Center. 60435, to begin the term of imprisonment. There was also terrible abuse and beatings by several police officers at one time, during incarceration in jail, while handcuffed and feet shackled, and the FBI had to be brought in.
During their terms in prison, they are malnourished, devalued, placed in isolation, and, worst, subjected to abuse simply because of the prejudiced officers who are in charge of them. Some of the inmates are sexually abused by officers and other prisoners, while the officers reportedly witness it. I would mention that there were reports of drugs being brought into prison for the inmates by the officers. There is so much prejudice and cruelty that many times, some of these people take their own lives or are killed during imprisonment.
These individuals are also mistreated by the officers who work in the local Jails. The officers seem to feel that it is their duty to punish the inmates themselves. They reportedly initiate physical violence among the incarcerated. They withhold food, they use tasers on the inmates at will, not realizing that the tasers can cause heart attacks and death.
This occurs because the Criminal Justice System is controlled by many biased and prejudiced people who have severe personal issues with anger, drugs, alcohol, and racism. Most importantly, racism and discrimination are displayed by those who are in charge of the facilitation of the Criminal Justice System, which is the Judiciary branch, law enforcement, and the Department of Corrections; therefore, there is often very little justice carried out.
First, we look at the Judiciary is made up of the courts –Supreme, Circuit, the magistrate (local), and municipal (city) courts. The Judicial branch interprets the laws. The injustice and inequality in Illinois’s judiciary are manifested through systemic bias, socioeconomic status, and political influence, which leads to disproportionate outcomes for marginalized communities.
Next, we will look at Law enforcement, the police, which is the department of people who enforce the laws, investigate crimes, and make arrests. Injustice and abuse by these police, including excessive force, racial bias, false arrests, and the failure of officers to intervene against misconduct by their colleagues, have resulted in so many unnecessary and cruel deaths.
Reportedly, there was an attempt to implement reforms, such as the SAFE-T Act of 2021. The statistics that are allegedly reported and witnessed demonstrate that it continues to disproportionately harm and affect minority communities, particularly seen in large cities like Chicago and other urban areas. These include police in all jails and prisons, and street officers in local communities.
Lastly, we look at the Department of Corrections, which refers to the retribution, rehabilitation, and supervision of criminal offenders through the system of incarceration, probation, and parole. The injustice and inequalities in Illinois’ Department of Corrections are evident through severe racial disparities, overcrowding, harsh sentences, and poor jail and prison conditions, particularly for Black and Hispanic individuals.
People of color are disproportionately represented in jails and prisons compared to their share of the population; they receive longer sentences and face over-policing and negative interactions with law enforcement, which appear to be designed to keep them in the system. The state prisons are so overcrowded that rehabilitative services are limited, if at all, which only contributes to a higher risk of violence and poor conditions for all incarcerated individuals.
We know without a shadow of a doubt that the Criminal Justice System is “broken” and unless issues are immediately and increasingly improved, the purpose of the Criminal Justice System will be of “no consequence.”
It has become another form of institutional slavery. It is unjust and another method of one man suppressing and misusing another. Unless there is a way to see every human being as just as important and meaningful as another, failure will continue and get even worse. As long as one man has the so-called upper hand over the other, there will be jealousy, envy, and dangerous competition. Until man’s hearts are changed by our creator, there will continue to be chaos and upheaval among each other.
However, there is a way to make meaningful changes, and that is through creating restorative outcomes, where judges, prosecutors, and public defenders prioritize empathy, holistic approaches, and collaborative communication. These qualities are the foundation of a restorative justice framework, which focuses on seeing the White, Black, or Asian person as a human being and then repairing harm to relationships caused by crimes, rather than relying solely on punitive measures.
The judges who preside over restorative court models and problem-solving courts should emphasize rehabilitation and healing over race, economic background, and punishment. The judge should work closely with attorneys, social workers, clinicians, and community partners to address the unique circumstances of each case.
They should maintain a courtroom tone that is respectful and empathetic. They use clear language to ensure comprehension and conduct individualized check-ins. They should be knowledgeable about the impacts of trauma, substance abuse, and mental health conditions on participants. They should always stay abreast of evidence-based practices and emerging research to continuously improve court outcomes.
The prosecutors who are progressive should be moving beyond the “tough on crime” mentality to embrace methods that promote community safety and address the root causes of crime. They should be willing to see restorative justice as a genuine alternative to traditional prosecution, even in serious crimes, and refer appropriate cases to programs like community conferencing or Victim-offender mediation.
They should be willing to engage with victims to understand their needs and what justice looks like for them, moving beyond merely securing a conviction. They should define community safety broadly by working with community leaders to identify ways to hold people accountable to build strong, healthy communities.
They should look for ways to offer alternatives to incarceration, such as rehabilitative programming for non-violent offenses, and use wisdom and discretion when giving a person another opportunity to try again (with consideration of mental health issues and physical issues, education, poverty, etc.).
The Public Defender, in a restorative system, should practice holistic defense and address a client’s legal and social needs to improve long-term outcomes. They should provide legal support while also referring clients to essential services, including mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and housing assistance.
They should work to build trust with their clients and empower them to make decisions and address the underlying issues that may have contributed to their legal troubles. They should understand the high prevalence of trauma among justice-involved individuals and use this knowledge to inform their advocacy.
The public defender should work in partnership with community organizations to connect clients with the support they need to address the root cause of crime.
The major reason for bringing this to the forefront is that creating a restorative justice system with professionals working in this capacity will produce multiple benefits for the clients, the system, and society as a whole.
This method will reap a productive harvest of holistic models and will reduce both the likelihood and length of incarceration. These restorative programs will give victims a voice in the process and can lead to higher satisfaction rates. When people are held accountable in a rehabilitative and supportive environment, research has shown lower recidivism compared to purely punitive approaches. Furthermore, holistic defense has been shown to reduce taxpayer costs associated with inmate housing.
When the criminal justice system uses the restorative method, it looks at the root cause, such as poverty, lack of education, mental health problems, or substance abuse. Through rehabilitation, they offer services like mental health counseling, drug treatment, and vocational training to address these root causes.
The Criminal justice system focuses on repairing the harm caused by the crime and can include mediation between the victim and the offenders. This process can foster empathy and accountability and reduce recidivism rates compared to traditional methods. When the criminal justice system is designed properly, it can break cycles of crime and help individuals reintegrate successfully into society.
There are evidence-based programs that target specific risk factors, criminal behavior, and reinforce positive behaviors, and have been shown to reduce recidivism. The Federal Bureau of Prisons reportedly offers job training through its prison industries, and research shows that participants are less likely to re-offend. Notably, countries like Norway focus on “resocialization” rather than punishment. They provide humane living conditions, education, and counseling. It has been reported that this method has led to the world’s lowest recidivism rates.
There is no absolute way to guarantee that everyone will be receptive to this restorative method, but there is one thing for sure, and that is that when we use methods that are fair and just for everyone, we can be assured that God (Micah 6:8) will be pleased because we are trying to follow a method that closely aligns with biblical principles and focuses on repairing harm (Matthew 5: 23-24), healing relationships, and restoring individuals to a state of wholeness. It also reflects the gospel message of forgiveness, reconciliation, and redemption. This will most assuredly bring about change in those who are participants and in the lives of the ones who are in charge of facilitating this method, and will ensure an outcome that will have a great impact on mankind and the whole of society.
Recommendations:
Individual prisons for different categories do not place all of the inmates in one place because it is most likely they will adapt to the ways of the other inmates and become worse than before. You are not familiar with spiritual things; evil can pass from one person to another.
There must be a Religious Chaplain in all prisons. The presence of the living God is critical to dealing with the evil that is housed in those prisons and jails.
When Jesus rose from the grave, he rose with all power Matthew 28: 18,19 and He put all things under his feet (Ephesians 1:22 and I Corinthians 15: 27 which refers to God’s act of giving Jesus complete authority and sovereignty over all creation.
God’s authority over all creation is the only authority that can destroy evil, not jails or prisons, or threats or punishments.
For we all must appear before the ‘Judgment Seat of Christ’, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad” 2 Corinthians 5:10.
I tell you these things that you might understand the gravity or the criticalness of my mission to this generation and the world, and that the Lord has commissioned me to let the world know that a day of ‘Reckoning is coming’.

There is heavy, stubborn, and ancient darkness executing a direct assignment against the soul of America. It isn’t hiding in the shadows; it is standing boldly at the gates, ruling with an iron fist. While many believers are casually praying generic prayers, an aggressive, demonic Pharaoh spirit has quietly subjugated our homes, hijacked our churches, and institutionalized itself inside our schools. This is not a drill, and it is no longer a battle we can afford to ignore. The clock is ticking, the strongman is entrenched, and it is time for the true intercessors to arise, draw the battle line, and enforce divine alignment.

The spiritual health of a nation is determined by three core pillars: the home, the church, and the school. When these three are aligned under truth, the next generation thrives in divine purpose. When they fracture, compromise enters. We must address each sphere with truth, sobriety, and urgent intercession, beginning where foundational life is formed.
The foundational structure to begin our call to God’s people is to begin systematically moving from the altar of the home to the house of God, and finally into the gates of education. This is to establish a spiritual sequence, building from the private foundation to the public sphere.
Homes: The Foundation of Altars
Home serves as the primary building block of our society; within these walls, individuals find their first sense of security, belonging, and identity. It is where core values are initially taught and where the rhythms of daily life establish our foundational habits. A stable, nurturing home environment provides the emotional and physical security necessary for individuals to venture out confidently into the wider world. When our households are strong and supportive, they naturally explain that stability outward, serving as the bedrock for everything that follows.
The Spiritual Mandate: Establish the home as the primary place of prayer, truth, and protection. Address the breaking of generational cycles and the restoration of family altars.
The Current Crisis: Confront the distractions, compromise, and division targeting families and youth.
The Prophetic Call: Call for a return to covenant order, intentional parental discipleship, and the fortifying of the home against cultural shifts.
The Spiritual Mandate for Home: The Sanctuary of Discipline and Legacy
The Home is God’s glorious institution for building identity, character, and spiritual covering. Under a Pharaoh-like system that attempts to separate children from their parents and weaken the family unit, the home’s mandate is to be an uncompromised greenhouse of truth.
The Mandate of Continuous Truth: Parents are called to be the primary spiritual guardians, weaving God’s Word into every rhythm of daily life.
The Shield of Legacy and Destiny: The Home is responsible for anchoring children in their divine identity so they cannot be easily swayed by the culture.

Churches: The Moral and Spiritual Center
Moving beyond the individual household, the church acts as the moral and spiritual anchor for the community. It bridges the gap between private family life and the broader public square by offering a shared space for faith, fellowship, and mutual support. Here, the values introduced at home are reinforced, deepened, and put into practice through collective worship and community service. The church provides a vital framework for accountability, compassion, and shared purpose, guiding neighbors to look out for one another and care for the vulnerable.
The Church: The House of Truth and Judgment
The Spiritual Mandate: Address the ecclesia’s responsibility to preach the full, uncompromised gospel. Highlight the need for holiness, strong biblical teaching, and true spiritual authority.
The Current Crisis: Confront the drift into lukewarm theology, entertainment-driven services, and the failure to prepare the next generation with deep spiritual roots.

The church is the spiritual governing body (Ekklesia) on the earth. When facing a Demonic Pharaoh-like spirit –which operates through systemic oppression, false decrees, and intimidation—the church cannot merely act as a social club. Its mandate is to equip the believers to enforce God’s kingdom authority.
The Mandate to Equip and Mature: The church exists to mature the saints so they can recognize deception and stand strong against worldly systems.
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man…”—Ephesians 4: 11-13

It is a dynamic training ground where children from diverse backgrounds come together to acquire knowledge, build critical skills, and learn the art of civic cooperation. By preparing the next generation to face the complexities of the world, our schools translate the stable values of our homes and churches into tangible progress and lifelong success.
School: Fortress of Truth and Identity
The Spiritual Mandate: To guard the mind, anchor the next generation in truth, and cultivate their divine destiny.
The Current Crisis: The Pharaoh-like spirit has institutionalized indoctrination, targeting the identity of children, rewriting history, and erasing absolute truth to create spiritual dependency on the “system.”
The Prophetic Call: Educators, parents, and leaders must rise like midwives {Shiphrah and Puah} to delay godless edicts, reclaim educational spaces, and raise a generation that refuses to bow to Egypt.
The Spiritual Mandate for the Schools: Cultivating the Mind and Protecting Destiny
The spiritual mandate of education is rooted in Deuteronomy 6: 6-7 and Proverbs 22:6. It charges this community to pass down wisdom, character, and truth to children so they may fulfill their divine destiny.
The Battle for the Mind: The Mind is the primary battlefield. This spiritual mandate of education is to train children to love God with all their mind (Matthew 22: 37), developing critical thinking rooted in absolute truth.
Identity and Purpose: True education reinforces that children are made in the image of God. It is meant to uncover their God-given gifts, not mold them into state-controlled cogs.
Resisting the “Deception of Egypt”: Moses was educated in all the wisdom of Egypt but had to reject its spiritual system to embrace his true calling (Hebrews 11: 24- 26); the school’s mandate is to provide knowledge without spiritual enslavement.
THE BATTLE GROUND FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
To address the spiritual archetype like a “Demonic Pharaoh-like spirit”—which is traditionally associated in Christian warfare with oppression, control, captivity, and resisting the moves of God—the strategy must focus on spiritual authority, repentance, and practical alignment with Scripture.
Before addressing the culture, the church must address its own leadership and atmosphere.
Driving The Pharaoh-like Spirit Out of the Church {The Foundation}
Break Legal Ground Through Repentance: A Demonic Pharaoh spirit thrives where there is control, pride, or a form of godliness that denies God’s power. The church must repent of any internal manipulation, legalism, or spiritual complacency that gives the enemy a foothold.
Restore True Worship and Prayer: Pharaoh sought to prevent the Israelites from worshipping freely in the wilderness. Churches must establish uncompromised, spirit-led worship and consistent intercessory prayer to break heavy atmospheres.
Operate in Unity: Spiritual division weakens authority. Pastors and ministries must align in genuine unity, as a divided house cannot stand against high-level oppression.
Driving the Pharaoh-Like Spirit out of the Home [The Micro-Level]
Home is the primary battleground for the next generation.
Establish spiritual Order: Parents must take up their roles as spiritual guardians. This means actively praying over the household, saying blessings, and breaking generational cycles of fear or control.
Sanctify the Environment: Families need to remove media, objects, or behaviors that invite spiritual darkness into the home. What enters through the eyes and ears affects the atmosphere.
Prioritize Family Altars: Daily scripture readings, prayers, and declaration of God’s word teach children how to recognize and resist oppressive spirits early in life.

Combating spiritual influence in public and educational spaces requires external action backed by spiritual authority.
Empower and Support Christian Educators: Believers working inside the school system need prayer coverings and encouragement to be distinct lights in a secular environment.
Encourage Students-Led Ministries: Support the formation of Bible Clubs, prayer groups, and Christian fellowships on campuses, giving students the tools to stand firm against secularism and control.
Adopt-a-School Prayer initiatives: Churches can organize prayer walks around local schools, interceding for the safety, moral integrity, and spiritual awakening of students and staff.
Empower and Support Christian Educators: Believers working inside the school system need prayer coverings and encouragement to be distinct lights in a secular environment.

I am a Seer, a Prophetess, an Anointed Intercessor, a Teacher, a Perceiver, and a Bearer of Truth to the World.
A demonic, Pharaoh-like system of bondage that was rooted in Exodus (Exodus 3: 7-9) is destroying our nation through cultural division, spiritual apathy, and moral decay.
This “Pharaoh-like” spirit over our society has manifested as an overarching atmosphere of oppressive control, caring too much about money and physical things, and working tirelessly towards a highly challenging objective. For its citizens, this presence creates a crushing demand to prove one’s worth through meaningful outputs or goals, combined with the mental, emotional, and cognitive burden carried by groups or individuals who are powerful, wealthy, and highly protected by the rule of law, to be answerable to physical and social duties that have been assigned to them. Neither do the standard social results apply to them.
Throughout history, individuals and groups from different backgrounds have had open and respectful exchange of ideas; the biblical Pharaoh represents established organizations and powerful groups or individuals who enrich themselves by taking advantage of, abusing, or manipulating others. They have ownership power and decision-making authority, thereby destroying the lives of everyday people. In the United States, several complex organizations have a domino effect, where the failure of one part of a system directly triggers, worsens, or relies on flaws in other parts, and creates exact reverse or identical parts on either side of a central dividing line, in the form of forms and mirror images of this movement, change, or activity.
A Small Fraction of the Population holds the Vast Majority of the Global Assets and Capital:
Much like the collection and storage of a large, reserved supply of goods, materials, or resources for future use in ancient Egypt, the modern American economic landscape is highly developed and market driven. An organization where private owners run businesses for profit and features a stark concentration of wealth and political influence at the top. Data indicates that the top 1% of households hold a vast portion of the nation’s wealth, while the bottom 50% hold a significantly smaller fraction.
A tiny fraction of a category that applies to anyone holding at least $30 in assets and holding more personal wealth than half the population combined, and a gap that continues to widen. This system allows a powerful separate legal entity of large company organizations, or group actions and political forces, to remove, pull out, or obtain something from the larger whole, often with effort, labor, and resources. This shapes a splitting economy (often referred to as a K-shaped recovery) where corporate profits soar while middle-income and lower-income Americans struggle with high debt loads that do not grow real wages.
The person or living that uses goods, services, or food gets stuck when they must repeatedly take out new, often high-interest loans just to service previous ones:
In the scriptural account, Pharaoh forced the Israelites to produce shares of bricks without providing the necessary straw, basically forcing them to drain themselves for basic survival. Today, many Americans face a modern situation through organizational debt, dishonest lending, and the high cost of housing and healthcare. For many working families, the pressure to maintain employment just to cover basic living expenses acts as a modern form of economic bondage, making it difficult to achieve freedom from financial debt or build wealth between or across different generations.
Persecution in Educational Foundations:
Just as Pharaoh’s decree focused on specific groups to maintain control, so do organizations that unduly affect underserved and defenseless communities. Deep-rooted imbalances persist in access to quality education, housing, and fair wages. Even after 406 years of brutality and injustice, our generation is still dealing with organizational inequities and, in some cases, on a higher scale. It is more than shameful that any human being has to be subjected to such inhumane treatment.
How can these defenseless communities be expected to be upstanding citizens when most of them, especially regarding the men’s standards that have to be lowered just to be accepted? These structural barriers ensure that the fiscal benefits of growth are spread out evenly, reinforcing historical and modern tools that represent and analyze complex monetary relationships of cruelty, unfairness, or injustice. The use of power and authority to keep a person or group from achieving social and financial equity.
The serious crime and human rights violation of an individual or group who takes advantage of a person for personal or financial gain.
Ancient Egypt’s foundations were heavily reliant on forced, unpaid labor. In the United States, modern amounts clear and easy to use through modern-day slavery and forced labor networks. People or groups who illegally trade, move, or sell humans include business owners, business organizations, and individuals or groups that organize without central authority to execute illicit enterprises for financial gain.
They exploit individuals for labor and any sexual act, explicit performance, or production of pornography that is exchanged for anything of value. This behavior often snares defenseless socio-economic groups in an unavoidable cycle of control. Like Pharaoh, America has forgotten that Genesis 1: 27 declares that God created all men equal in the image of God himself, male and female. God had shown Pharaoh that he has no respect of persons Romans 2: 11; the rich and poor both have this in common Proverbs 22: 2.
Where the truth is twisted to manipulate beliefs, wrapping falsehoods around a core piece of accuracy hidden in the heart of a distorted story to gain influence.
From a religious and spiritual point of view, many observers compare these damaging and harmful societal forces to a “Pharaoh spirit”. This spirit represents pride, valuing physical comfort, wealth, and possessions over spiritual or intellectual matters, and a focus on world power over human compassion. When national and corporate leaders are driven solely by wealth buildup, power, and control. It often leads to the loss of quality, dignity, and the value of societal morals, the breakdown of socio-political, economic, and cultural organizations, and a disregard for human dignity and well-being.
This reappearance of this evil presence is a warning to us to heed and cry out against the danger of the injustices to God’s creation this spirit has provoked, and how the wrath of God will pour out on us. If we look around us, we can see the evidence of this oppressive spirit in this present world, with all of its wickedness, immorality, and disrespect for God and our fellow man. The female is as wicked as the male and so full of false pride, and they refuse to worship their Creator and are worshipping themselves and the creation.
A “Pharaoh-like spirit over a society is recognized as an overarching atmosphere of oppressive control, an extreme belief that physical objects bring true happiness and show their worth in life, and an intense effort, often in the face of difficulties, exhaustion, and/or obstacles, until a goal is reached. For citizens, this presence would feel like a constant, crushing demand to prove one’s worth through goods, services, or tasks, combined with the mental burdens of top-tier groups shielded from the results of their own actions or broader societal crises.
People living under this influence experience the following:
“Completing a task without the Natural Resources”:
An environment where endless labor is required to meet goals that are adaptable and left to personal judgment. Citizens might feel constantly drained, working numerous jobs while finding it more and more difficult to afford needs like housing and food.
A shared way of life, beliefs, customs, and arts of a group of people, raising a normal person to the rank of God and vast enough to evoke a sense of awe, being magnificent or splendid, with famous Landmarks, like the Grand Canyon.
The spirit would likely manifest through the worship of well-established organizations, cooperative groups, or powerful leaders. Citizens would be conditioned to see these authorities as majestic, never failing, or free from error but necessary, despite the widespread suffering they cause.
Extreme lack of empathy:belief is political, everything is evaluated through a political lens, and the refusal to listen to the cries of the downtrodden.
A defining trait of the biblical Pharaoh was a “hardened heart” that refused to yield to the cries of the broken. Citizens might keep their feelings or thoughts inside, leading to a deep-seated lack of empathy, intense division, and harshness toward those who are easily hurt or damaged.
In Summary:
God has commanded that a focused spiritual warfare announcement will break cruel, Pharaoh-like companies of bondage that are rooted in Exodus. The biblical prayer of rescue asserts God’s supreme authority over this nation.

The Announcement of Freedom:
“Heavenly Father, Mighty Deliverer, I come before You acknowledging You as the supreme ruler over this nation. I stand in the authority of the Blood of Jesus and proclaim that every spiritual and satanic Pharaoh’s spirit holding our land in bondage is taken apart and overthrown.
I command and affirm:
Release Over the Nation: I proclaim over this nation: Just as God gave Moses to tell Pharaoh, let My people go! We break the fortress of task masters, organizations of bondage, and every force that seeks to enslave the minds and assets of the people.
Uncovering hidden schemes: I command that every satanic evil plot, dark altar, and monitoring spirit assigned to control and manage the country, economy, and morality of this nation is exposed and destroyed by the fire of the Lord.
Disorder and infighting within the groups: I release the “spirit of confusion (Isaiah 19: 14, where God describes sending dizziness, poor counsel, and a perverse spirit to make Egyptian (American and worldly) leaders stagger in their plans like a drunk person) into Egypt (America and the world) “, into the camp of every enemy of righteousness. Let their plans for division, fear, and control gradually fade away.
The Almighty delivers true justice: I order that every “Red Sea’ barrier that Pharaoh’s spirit has placed in the path of this nation’s wealth and spiritual rebirth is now bound and beaten in the Name of Jesus.
Renewal of the Land: We claim the wealth and resources of the wicked as a spoil for the righteous. I announce and proclaim that healing, revival, financial liberation, and spiritual enlightenment will flood this nation in Jesus’ name, Amen. So shall it be done and can never be undone!
Almighty God, we command Your light to shine in the darkness, and the righteous to rejoice. We place this nation under the protection of the Precious Shed Blood of Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen. So, let it be done, and it can never be undone!

America I was reading this online and I knew it was appropriate to post at this time because if we ever needed prayer and fasting to seek God for his mercy and grace and to restore America to a place where it can be blessed, it is now! A Proclamation
Whereas a joint committee of both Houses of Congress has waited on the President of the United States and requested him to “recommend a day of public humiliation, prayer, and fasting to be observed by the people of the United States with religious solemnities and the offering of fervent supplications to Almighty God for the safety and welfare of these States, His blessings on their arms, and a speedy restoration of peace;” and
Whereas it is fit and becoming in all people at all times to acknowledge and revere the supreme government of God, to bow in humble submission to His chastisements, to confess and deplore their sins and transgressions in the full conviction that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and to pray with all fervency and contrition for the pardon of their past offenses and for a blessing upon their present and prospective action; and
Whereas when our own beloved country, once, by the blessing of God, united, prosperous, and happy, is now afflicted with faction and civil war, it is peculiarly fit for us to recognize the hand of God in this terrible visitation, and in sorrowful remembrance of our own faults and crimes as a nation and as individuals to humble ourselves before Him and to pray for His mercy–to pray that we may be spared further punishment, though most justly deserved; that our arms may be blessed and made effectual for the re-establishment of law, order, and peace throughout the wide extent of our country; and that the inestimable boon of civil and religious liberty, earned under His guidance and blessing by the labors and sufferings of our fathers, may be restored in all its original excellence:
Therefore I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, do appoint the last Thursday in September next as a day of humiliation, prayer, and fasting for all the people of the nation. And I do earnestly recommend to all the people, and especially to all ministers and teachers of religion of all denominations and to all heads of families, to observe and keep that day according to their several creeds and modes of worship in all humility and with all religious solemnity, to the end that the united prayer of the nation may ascend to the Throne of Grace and bring down plentiful blessings upon our country.

We have just completed a 21 Day Fast seeking the Lord’s guidance and help in our personal lives, our families, our communities as well as our nation. The Lord declares to us in Isaiah 58: 6, “It not the FAST that I have chosen, to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” The next scripture emphasizes the desperate need and the power of FASTING to bring great deliverance and freedom to those who the enemy has held captive through self-destructive vices and behaviors. The Lord declares that it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” I believe that there is a great need for our President to call for our Nation to seek the Lord in humility for his forgiveness, blessings, and protection again as President Abraham did on August 12, 1861, through a Proclamation for the Nation to FAST and PRAY. We are seeing one death after another, especially of younger people. God, please have mercy upon our nation and the world. I further believe that REVELATIONS HAS BEGUN AND that Jesus is RETURNING soon and we are now in Apocalyptic times!
