Deliverance from Fear
Lord our country is in dire straits and the problem is worldwide. Violence is erupting everywhere being fueled by hatred and prejudice. The pandemic crosses into our country with a vengeance and has already killed over 500,000 of our neighbors. God the enemy tried to bring the fear of our mortality to us and our loved ones.
I know with my mind that I should not be apprehensive or worried and Lord I ask for your forgiveness. I need your help and therefore I am seeking your face from the depth of my soul (Psalm 63: 90). Jesus, you must help my unbelief (Mark 9: 24).
Your word is forever settled in heaven (Psalm 119: 89-96), it will never go and return void but will accomplish all that you have spoken, and it will prosper in the thing whereas you have sent it (Isaiah 55: 11). Help me to remember that you are a mighty God and a mighty warrior (Judges 6: 12). You are an all-powerful God. Your mercy and love will endure forever (Psalm 136). I do not need to fear because you will deliver me from every evil work (Psalm 91). I am safe under the shadow of your wings (Psalm 61: 1-5; 63: 7). In Jesus’ sweet name. Amen.
Freedom from Guilt
Father God, when I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and asked him to live in my heart, he forgave me of all my sins (Psalm 51: 10). Lord, I know that I am forgiven even though there are times the enemy tries to remind me of those past sins. I now feel the guilt and regret over all the pain and sufferings that I have caused others (Psalm 50: 4-5). I know that you have forgiven me, but daily I feel the guilt about the harm caused to others (Luke 15: 18; 18: 13).
I am aware of your word that declares that you removed our sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103: 12 KJV). Lord, please help me remember your word when the enemy attempts to keep me a prisoner of the sins of my past. You said that when we are born again, we become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5: 17). The old man is gone and now the new man has come. What an awesome blessing.
Now Oh Lord, I look forward to each passing day with hope as I am reminded of sharing your redeeming love. I will never be bound to the remembrance of the person that I was because now I am living in the freedom, I have received through Jesus our Lord. Freedom from Insecurity
OH Lord God, I am in the need of help from feeling insecure. The enemy is constantly attempting to whisper in lies in my ears, but I have not listened to the truth (John 17: 17). I need your help to be able to believe that I am loved (John 3: 16). I need to realize that I am perfectly created. I need to accept that you love me for just who I am. Lord let your holy spirit open my eyes of understanding to know when I am hearing your voice of truth. Freedom from Depression
Almighty God of the entire universe, your word declares that you are the same (Hebrews 13: 8; Revelation 21: 6; 22: 13), and you change not although things around me seem to be ever-changing and very unforeseeable. Lord God, I am so thankful that you are always the same, yesterday, today, and forever. So often I feel that the enemy has been coming against me and trying to make things so difficult (John 10: 8-10). Please give me the strength to stand and protect (Ephesian’s 6: 11) me from the wilds of the devil (Psalm 16: 1-6).
Lord, please open my eyes to discern if there is a physical impairment causing my depression. Give me the desire to examine every situation to see if there are things I need to change for the better. Jesus gives me to inquire spiritually to know and discern (1Corinthians 2: 14) if I am under a spiritual attack from the enemy. As I pray and seek your face give me the spiritual knowledge and wisdom to know how to fight spiritually. If I need other sources of help lead me to the correct sources. Lord, I am so thankful that because you went through an emotionally difficult time as a man, I know that you understand exactly how I feel (Hebrews 4: 15).
Lord return to me the joy of my salvation and never allow me to fall into depression again (Psalm 51: 12-14). Oh God like your servant David I am pleading to you to give me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Savior Jesus, I understand that to receive spiritual healing I must first have faith to believe (John 7: 38; Romans 10: 17; Mark 5: 36). Intercessory Prayer for the Salvation of Others
Oh God, I humbly come before the courts of heaven, the throne of grace (Hebrews 4: 16; 1 John 4: 8) to petition for the soul of others. I need you to continually teach me to surrender myself to the holy spirit during my prayer for the salvation of unbelievers. Oh, the holy spirit makes me an instrument that can be used for seeking your face for the lost.
Oh, work through me holy spirit. Let your holy spirit fill, cleanse, and enable me. As I pray you to take control and spiritually help me to be aware of your words to speak to those who are seeking you.
Each time I pray oh Lord, remind me of the lost who are so desperately in need of a savior. Lord reveal the names of those that you want me to intercede for during my prayer time. Lord even though there are times that things seem too difficult in attempting to raise my child, I am yet thankful that you have made me a parent. As my adult child matures and grows, favor them with the best of life in your presence. Lord let your eyes be forever upon them. To you Oh Lord, be all the glory and the honor.
Lord God, even though there will be times that they will encounter problems I have faith to believe that your wisdom and strength will help them to overcome every trial. Your presence is with my adult child/children forever (Psalm 16: 11). You said that the waters would not overflow them neither would the floods drown them (Isaiah 43: 2). You are a faithful God whose promise is to keep them protected under the shadow of your wings (Psalm 17: 8; Psalm 91: 4). You said that you would never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13: 5).
Heavenly Father, I know that all blessings and gifts come from you (James 1: 17). You have allowed all their needs and wants to be so wonderfully supplied. You are the one who makes sure that they have the warmth of shelter and food to eat. It is out of the bounty of your goodness that their needs are met (2 Corinthians 9: 5). Intercessory Prayer for the Church
“Upon this Rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16: 13-20).
It is during these times that the church is so needed. The enemy’s most determined job is to destroy your church. Lord, people have no real place of solace and peace until the church fulfills its mission. Father God, help us through the strength of your holy spirit. Teach us to examine our hearts and give us an ear to hear from you. We must realize that to have fellowship with you we must open our hearts to your guidance and your directions. The church allows the world to see Jesus revealed through people which makes it real and authentic. Give us the real desire to become more like you in all that we say and do.
The first thing we need to do is surrender the idea that we must always be first and deny ourselves for you to shine through us. You said that if we would lose our lives for your sake, we would save them (Matthew 10: 39). Lord, we need to be saved from the ugliness of self.

Jesus, son of David have mercy on me (Luke 18: 38)! I know that it only takes one touch of your powerful hands to heal my body. I know that in your hands are life and recovery. Every single sick person that you touched in the bible was made whole that very hour (Matthew 8: 13). All during your earthly ministry you healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out devils with the word (Matthew 10: 8).

Prayer for A Covenant Wife
“Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her so that he shall not need spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of his life” (Proverbs 31: 10-13).
Lord God, you said, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtain favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 18: 22).
Oh Lord, I have been seeking a wife for such a long time and I have kept myself pure before you in expectation of that covenant wife just for me. You said in Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12 that two will be better than one because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him! If two lie together, they will keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him, a threefold cord is not easily broken. This has been the sentiment of my heart and I have placed my wife and myself with the holy spirit guide to help us be that unbreakable cord.
Lord, I desire to have a wife that is prepared for me according to the biblical role. I want a helpmate. I know that that role will come with great power. It will be her responsibility to help me become all that God wants me to be. I believe that because you have prepared her for me according to your example, she will respect me as her husband. This will mean revering, admiring, and honoring me as her husband (Ephesians 5: 33). As a Christian wife, she will value my opinion, admire my values and character. She will be considerate of my needs such as self-confidence and the need to be needed.
Father God, the one most important character I am praying that my wife will possess is the spiritual ability to be submissive as your word dictates in Colossians 3: 18-19. The bible says, “Wives be subject to your husbands, as fitting in the Lord.”
I do not expect blind obedience or being inferior to me. I am praying for her to entrust herself to me as her husband. And I am aware that this will be hand in hand with my leadership role. In submitting she will allow me to become the leader Oh God, you want me to be and to fulfill the roles of an authentic biblical husband.
Now, Father God, I am believing that my wife that you have prepared for me will say to me as Ruth said to Naomi, “whither thou goes, I will go; and where thou lodges, I will lodge; thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God” (Ruth 1: 16). In expectation Lord, I want to be able to hear my betrothed say, “My beloved is mine, and I am his” (Solomon 2: 16). These things I have prayed in the name of my savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
Prayer for A Covenant Husband
“From the beginning of creation, the Lord God made male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh” What therefore God has joined together let no man separate” (Mark 10: 6-9; Ephesians 5: 31).
Lord Jesus I am seeking a covenant husband to walk through this life with me as my spiritual partner. I have prayed and am now waiting for you to reveal that special person to me according to your design. Oh God, now that I have cleansed my life of worldliness, I now ask that your holy spirit cleanse me and prepare me to be the covenant wife for the covenant husband that you have prepared for me.
1 Corinthians 11: 3 says that “Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman and God is the head of Christ.” Lord, I know that the husband you have for me will be my head as Christ is of the church. He will love me as his wife unconditionally and will be a servant leader just like Christ (Ephesians 5: 25). Your word stipulates that his love for me should not be based on my actions. He should respect, affirm, and always love me.
Father God, I know that the husband you have prepared for me will have a sacrificial action that is an integral part of his role as the head of the home. Lord Jesus, you have shown this example by your great love. You have demonstrated servant leadership by washing the disciples’ feet. In marriage his being a leader means to ensure that as his wife my material, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
Now Lord God, help us to be a complete union. Let us be truly one and give us the ability to support each other in areas where each other lack. Lord enable us through your holy spirit be that threefold cord (marriage and two spouses and almighty God at the head) that cannot be broken. In the name of Jesus our perfect example. Amen.
Financial Help
Dear Lord, I come to you desperately in need of a financial miracle. You are my very present help in times of trouble. Lord God all my bills are due in every area of need and I have no money to pay them (Philippians 4: 19). My Lord and my God please send me help from the sanctuary (Psalm 20:2). I am trusting that you will enable me to become finically secure that I will be able to make sure all my bills are paid, and I have enough to give to others in need (2 Corinthians 9: 7). Prayer for World Peace
Oh, Merciful God, we need your mercy right now. You must come and quiet the storm of hatred violence and the needless loss of lives (Matthew 8: 23-27; Mark 4: 35-41; Luke 8: 22-25). We need your spirit to end the warring and strife between the different ethnicities, and between the different political sides. There is strife, violence, and death erupting daily from one city to another.
Lord God, we need our eyes open to see how the lies are the start of all the tragedies, and the desperate need to rise to the importance of the truth (Psalm 43: 3-5). We are turning to you now oh Lord. Even though this horrible Pandemic taking lives everywhere people are still refusing to see how their behavior is allowing to continue.
You came into the world that the world may be able to know the peace that was ushered in at your birth. The angels sing during your birth in Bethlehem, “Peace on earth and goodwill to men” (Luke 2: 14).” You are the one who has known peace from your oneness with your Father in the heavens.
I know that your word declares that there will be wars and rumors of wars. You even said in your word that there would be nations revolting against nations and this would exist the world over (Matthew 24: 7).
The reason that you came was to save this world from sin and from itself and all the violence, and evil (John 3: 16).
Now God I am interceding for the world that you would have mercy on us and pity your rebellious, disobedient people and grant us the forgiveness that brings peace and love before we destroy ourselves (Psalm 51: 1-2; Hebrews 4: 16). You said if we bit and devour each other we must watch out or we will be destroyed by each other (Galatians 5: 15). These things we are asking in your son’s Jesus name. Amen
